A Bouquet for the Fall Equinox

Can you tell I’m obsessed with orange roses right now? And while this bouquet looks similar to the post for the color of fall, it’s actually perfect for this weekend’s fall equinox. Why? Because it combines that now ubiquitous color of summer with my beloved orange, which helps us say goodbye to the longer days of summer and welcome in the shorter days of fall.

I know some people prefer those summer days that provide as much sunlight as possible within twenty-four hours, but I have to admit I love it when dusk creeps in a little earlier, ushering in cooler weather and sunsets glowing in corals and purples and dusty pinks.

So, Happy Fall Equinox and . . .
