Jordi’s Favorite Toy

If you’re a pet parent, you know pets, like kids, have a favorite toy. Who knows what attracts them to a specific toy, but there’s always one they fall in love with. Jordi’s favorite toy is an owl made out of yarn and filled with catnip. I call it Owlie. You can no longer tell it’s an owl because Jordi has ripped it to threads.

But Jordi doesn’t care, and I often find him sitting as he is in this picture, paws placed protectively around his Owlie. I swear it’s not posed - Jordi really hugs Owlie at least once a day.

So here’s to hugging your favorite toy or cat on this Caturday, and . . .
