Frownies

Usually I recommend a good book or a TV show I love here on Featured Fridays, but because I wrote about aging gracefully earlier in the week, I figured I’d recommend one of my favorite products: Frownies.

I know I talked a lot about my belly and my turkey neck in the last post, but the lines between my eyebrows also bother me because they’re deep and they make me look like I’m frowning all the time (hence, the Frownies). I’ve considered Botox but I usually stay away from needles unless it’s necessary for my health.

I thought I would just have to accept the permanent frown.

But then I discovered Frownies. I was skeptical. How can a thin piece of kraft paper stuck to your face overnight change anything? I don’t know how, but it does. Do the lines disappear completely? No. But if you use Frownies consistently, those lines will get smaller. I swear! I didn’t believe it either.

The best part: They’re a lot less expensive than botox. And as someone who has both sensitive skin and gets allergic reactions to many skin products, they don’t irritate my skin at all.
