Jordi Says: I’ve Got No Teef!

Jordi wants you to know that the only reason his tongue occasionally sticks out is because he’s got no teef! By that, he means teeth. My sweet Jordi came to me as a stray cat who started living in our yard. When I finally took him in and took him to the vet, he was relatively healthy but, apart from the fleas (yuck!), he had tooth disease. A lot of tooth disease. So much so that the vet said they had to go. All of his, as he would say, teef.

Well, okay, he does have two left: his bottom two canines, which are not close enough to keep his adorable little tongue inside his mouth. So, sometimes when he’s sleeping or very tired, that cute tiny tongue sticks out, as you can see in the photo.

He may not like it, but I think it’s gosh darn cute. Yes, I just said, “Gosh darn.”

On this Caturday, be grateful you have all your teef and . . .
