The (Dog’s) New Couch

We’ve been needing a new couch for a while now (like, for years), and the couch is one of Cyrus’s favorite places to be. He even has his own pillow and blanket for the couch. Yes, we spoil him. But now that we have a new couch, he has decided that it’s not for sharing, that he no longer needs his pillow, and that the new couch cushion now belongs to him (as you can see in the photo).

It is true that, by allowing him on the old couch, we may have given him the idea that any couch belongs to him. And he is obviously not wrong. So, while I am enjoying finally having a new couch, I’m pretty sure Cyrus is enjoying it more.
